Editorial policy

Our standards

• Accuracy first. Every formula on the site is implemented once in a shared, unit-tested library. Worked examples in articles are computed with the same code that powers the calculators.
• No predictions. We publish mathematics and explanation. We do not publish tips, picks, model outputs or expected results for any event.
• Risk stated plainly. Where a calculation produces an unattractive answer — a 0.5% parlay chance, a Kelly stake of zero — we show it prominently rather than softening it.
• No manufactured authority. We do not invent expert bylines, fabricated credentials or fake review counts.

How content is produced

Each calculator page is written alongside its implementation, so the formula shown on the page is the formula executed in code. Guides are reviewed against primary sources on probability and bookmaking practice, and every numeric claim in a table is recalculated before publication.

Review schedule

Calculator logic is covered by an automated test suite that runs on every change. Guides carry a "last reviewed" date and are re-checked at least annually, or immediately when a reader reports an error.

Corrections

If a calculation is wrong, we fix it and say so. Report errors to corrections@bet.ing with the inputs you used and the result you expected. Substantive corrections are noted on the affected page.

Advertising and independence

Commercial relationships never influence a calculation, a ranking or the wording of a risk warning. Any advertising is labelled as such. See the affiliate disclosure for full details.
