How the numbers are calculated
Reading your results honestly
A high win rate is not the same as profit. Backing heavy favourites can win 80% of bets and still lose money, while a 35% strike rate at long prices can be profitable. ROI is the figure that matters, and it needs a large sample before it means anything.
- Under 100 bets — the result is mostly noise. Do not draw conclusions.
- 100–500 bets — trends appear, but a swing of ±10% ROI from luck alone is still normal.
- 500+ bets — ROI starts to carry signal, especially alongside positive closing line value.
If your ROI is negative across a large sample, that is real information. The maths on this site exists to make that visible early rather than after a long losing run.
Privacy
The tracker writes to your browser's localStorage and nothing else. There is no sync, no server copy and no way for us to read your bets. The trade-off is that the data lives on one device, so export a backup if the history matters to you.
